What is Fushimi Inari Today?
An independent guide that answers three questions fast: is Fushimi Inari crowded right now, when is it quiet, and how far do you need to climb. We are not connected to Fushimi Inari Taisha.
How is the crowd forecast made?
We read the "Popular times" charts on Google Maps by eye, hour by hour for each day of the week, and turn them into our own 0–100 estimates. We don't copy or show Google's charts. For each place, 100 is its own busiest hour of the week, so numbers can't be compared between places.
The live score adjusts these estimates for busy seasons and, soon, for the weather. It is an estimate, not a head count. Last data update: 27 September 2026.
Where do the cameras and weather come from?
Live cameras are YouTube streams run by:
